Often when I paint, I take some of every color from my palette and put it all on the canvas at once. As I move the paint with my knife, I do not think of anything at all but I do feel the music from my headphones inside my head. I do not paint in a rhythm to the music as it is a tool to find solitude with my knives and paints. When I finished this painting and began to study it, I noticed what appeared to be a small raven flying, looking down upon the world beneath him. Flying with an urgency, everything below is a blur for him, yet he sees everything.
