After creating a painting, I will sit and study it and wonder what its meaning holds. Often times, I have not a clue. Other times, the meaning seems to scream at me. Such is the case with this painting. Using shades of green as a background color, I wanted to use the primaries as the subject of the color harmony. Juxtaposing the three at once can be challenging as each are very dominate hues. Small amounts work best when lifting and moving the paints. My hands barely move at times setting the paint just the right way on the canvas. The effort of patience is rewarded when the color harmony is equally balanced.
